Jerry & Jorma @ Jefferson Airplane House (12-16-69) [SBD]

Jerry Garcia and Jorma Kaukonen have an epic blues jam. I was origionally told that this jam happened at the Jefferson Airplane house in San Francisco, December 1969; however, a there is forum discussion that it could have been on 10/28/69 at Fulton House, CA.

This special afternoon was captured in perfect quality via *Betty-board*.

I also posted this show about a week ago as Jefferson Jerplane 10-21-68 without knowing about this one. I downloaded it as a torrent five years ago. On the posting is the text file Garcia1969-10-28.12687.txt that has sourcing information and places it at 2400 Fulton st. on 10-28-69 with the lineup of Jerry, Mickey, Jorma, Jack, and Spencer. Good OLD Deadbase 8, which is from 1994, has an entry dating 10-21-68 which says: "Jefferson Airplane House, San Francisco, Ca *(Garcia,Hart,Kaukonen,Casady,Dryden)*.

Wherever or whenever this is from, it's a fantastic rare gem with perfect sound quality. Jam #6 is the definite highlight. Crank it up when there's no music. Some of the taking is funny, especially at the beginning of #3.

Subject: Wow.
Guess this soundboard falls between the cracks.
There is that other one called Airplane House Jam, released on the bootleg web. Also a pristine recording. With Cippolina on Hey Fredrick

I'm only on jam3 but man this is sick. Just saw Hot Tuna acoustic on Leap Day and they still can jam. It's good to hear Jerry on this one too! A must have for sure. Thanks for posting it!!!

Thanks reviewers.

This recording was a gift from a friend. I am unsure how it came across it in the first place.

The recording was supposedly made via "Betty" board, but the specifics on that I am unable to verify. One thing is for certain, it does sound fantastic!

Enjoy! :D
